We hebben een stadwandeling in Heusden gedaan. Het was een mooie wandeling met veel informatie en leuke en gepaste grapjes tussendoor. Echt een leuke dag gehad.

Lovely centre which has a detailed model of the town, inculding all the 16th C defences such as the moat, ravelins and bastions. There are also detailed models of buildings such as the old town hall which was destroyed during the Second World War. A very informative 14 minute video tells you the fascinating history of the town.

Hier kunt u niet alleen terecht voor informatie over Heusden en omgeving, maar ook om het maquette te bewonderen en naar een interessante film over de restauratie te bekijken. Vergeet niet de eerste verdieping te gaan bekijken, un kunt voor uitleg bij de balie vragen, de medewerkers helpen heel graag.

Mooie, ruime, informatieve plek met super vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Wij hebben de spreekwoordenspeurtocht gedaan. Volgens de omschrijving zou dat 1,5 uur duren maar ik zou er eerder het dubbele voor uittrekken.

I visited Heusden after briefly learning about its history so I decided to go see for myself. I didnt prepare anything so I went straight to the Tourist Information centre in Heusden
They were really helpful, they showed me first a video (that can be watched in either Dutch or English language). Then they showed me the model of the Heusden village. A model up-to scale, that took 8 years to construct. After that they gave me some documentation. Really great service and I highly recommend to anyone visiting Heusden.
